Here’s the Truth

Dr. Dennis Schone

Here is some important information that all your patients and prospects in your community absolutely
must know!

The Health care system is broken according to Dr. James Dalen M.D. (Harvard U.

Professor) it has become high cost with poor outcomes.

Dr Barbara Starfield M.D. of John Hopkins, medical care is the third leading cause of death. There are
225,000 preventable deaths per year. 100,000 people die a year from complications to surgery.

Prescription drugs rank fourth only to cancer, diabetes and heart disease in the cause of

death.

62% of all bankruptcies are due to medical bills, according to a study at Harvard U. Blue Cross has
raised rates 54% due to this.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) the USA is #1 in health care cost, #72 in the health of
the population and #37 in delivering healthcare in the world.

Recent data by researchers has revealed high cost and in effective medical back treatment.

Low back pain is the 8th highest healthcare cost to the USA. $40 billion annually, $100 billion

adding in work loss. The #1 disability is the US is Low back pain.

Time Magazine- what a sinkhole our countries healthcare system has become.

Pran Manga Ph D, health economist, says” there is an o overwhelming body of evidence indication that
Chiropractic management of low back pain is more effective than medical care.

Now today Chiropractic has been kicked around for yrs. and has finally emerged as the most effective
treatment and most cost-effective for low back pain.

After nearly a century of warfare against chiropractic, research has shown Chiropractic care to be very
effective. Also ironically now serious questions have emerged about medical management of back pain,
opoid drugs, epidural injections and spine surgery. The claim to be dangerous and unscientific seems to
be on the other foot now.

A recent research study published in The Spine Journal (Dec. 2010) one of the most frequently cited
spine research journals in the world found that patients with acute mechanical low back pain enjoy
significant improvement with Chiropractic care, but little or no improvement with the usual care they
receive from family physicians.

It’s a new day; let’s get back into the game of being a lifestyle changer. The body self heals, self

regulates and maintains homeostasis. Tell your patients the truth, hold them accountable and help them

achieve an aliveness that they never knew was possible.
